This book was a lot more fun than I expected it to be. Considering I didn't really know anything about this book, I sort of assumed it would be this super smart girl solves mystery crime and everyone cheers. It turns out it's actually kind of like that but not really.
Pip the main character is this smart girl that gets herself into the investigation of a crime that had happened five years earlier. She starts it as a school project but with each person spoken to she dives into the case more and more until she can't stop before solving the case.
It was a really entertaining quick read, it took me two days to read the first book and two more days to finish the sequel. Both are equally fun and mysterious and they take plenty of twists and turns to keep you guessing and to keep you interested.
What I like most is that it was such an entertaining book and it time just passed while reading it. It was definitely a book I'd recommend to keep with you for long rides or whenever you need to pass time. The chapters are short which is one of my favourite things and they go by smoothly and funnily and you can't help but like the characters because they're all rather cute and weird in their own ways.
The first book introduces you to the character and the second sort of deals more with the aftermath of the first book along with new things and new problems. Both are entertaining, fun to read and very cute. I don't know what to say more because while it was all the things that I wrote, I definitely didn't think of very much while reading it.
There wasn't much that stood out or so, just that it was a good book.
